  Problem Solutions
1 You've registered JournalEase, but you still get the nag screen when you run the Palm applet. When you run the Setup.exe program, only the JournalEase Desktop Conduit is installed--not the registered version of JournalEase for the Palm. That file (jease15.prc) is contained in the Zip file you received upon registering. You must extract everything from that file, and install jease15.prc manually on your Palm device. This is the registered version of the product, the one without the nag screen.

You receive a "Run-time error -381."

Contact us at the e-mail address below to obtain a new version of the desktop companion. Or, if you're familiar with the Registry Editor, simply delete the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\PJDesk\Prefs

3 You cannot remove the last character/space in a journal entry in the Desktop Companion.

This is a security feature. You must delete entries using JournalEase.
